THI is presenting this list to help local organizations needing specific items for their clients, as well as community members who are looking for appropriate recipients for their unwanted itemsCathedral Center Shelter at 845 N. Van Buren Street, needs the following items.

- Full sized sheets blankets, pillows & cases, waterproof mattress pads
- Comforter/sham/ruffle sets for full size beds
- Paper plates, plastic cutlery, napkins, paper towels, paper lunch bags, hot/cold drinking cups
- Food items: bread, lunch meats, sliced cheese, coffee, fruit, cereals, individual packets of cheese and crackers
- Prepaid phone cards ($5-$10 increments) for guests
- Blank journals
- Gift cards from Walgreens or CVS to assist with prescription costs
- Umbrellas
- Underclothing for men, women & children: tee shirts, underpants, bras. socks
- Diapers and wipes for infants and children
Grand Avenue Club "Ain't It Grand" resale shop needs men's and women's clothing as well as household items to furnish apartments for people with mental illness who are beginning independent living.
Meta House needs kitchenware and linens to furnish apartments for women recovering from substance abuse.
